Talk about baby mama drama! 50 Cent tried to evict Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10 year old son Marquise from this house back in April, giving them until May 1 to move out. Rumor has it that he offered to “allow” them to stay until the end of the school year if she agreed to pay rent in the amount of $4,500.
The timing of the fire is very suspicious, coming right at the end of the month. I wonder if Fiddy’s baby mama paid rent for May in order to continue living in 50 Cent’s multi million dollar house?
Shaniqua Tompkins had better have a top of the line attorney to go up against 50 Cent’s Madison Avenue counsel, Brett Kimmel. Kimmel’s website quotes the services the husband and wife attorney team offers as specializing in:
.. all aspects of Family and Matrimonial Law including divorce; property distribution (classification and distribution of marital property, business, pension, license and professional practice valuation, complex distribution schemes); custody; spousal support; child support; matrimonial agreements (pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements); co-habitation agreements…
Shaniqua filed her own lawsuit against 50 Cent on April 18, in State Supreme Court in Manhattan, claiming a breach of contract on the part of 50 Cent. Tompkins alleged that the bad-boy rapper had promised to put all or part of the house in her name. Shaniqua, girl, get everything in writing and reviewed by your own lawyer always!! The house or what’s left of it is located on an acre of land. It had six bedrooms and five bathrooms, a three-car heated garage, a pool and even a dumbwaiter to the kitchen.
Quiet Dix Hills, is a hamlet in Long Island’s Suffolk county. Its residents are probably not used to all this excitement . According to the census of 2000, there were 26,024 people, 7,952 households, and 7,236 families residing in the area. Dix Hills neighborhoods run the gamut, some are gated, some not but most feature Colonials, though there are some ranchs, capes, contemporaries and newer post-modern homes sitting on spacious manicured properties. The area is one-acre zoned, but smaller parcels exist.
House prices range from $400,000 to $2 million plus. Notable people who live or have lived in Dix Hills include: John Coltrane (jazz musician), Steve Israel (U.S. Representative), Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid actor), Kim Serafin (radio talk show host), Former Twisted Sister front man Dee Snyder, Frank Borrelli (The Sopranos) and Dina Meyer (actress).
