I need to find cheap tires online, hopefully from somewhere that includes free shipping. A couple nights ago my tire was punctured while I was driving on a dark street in Falls Church, Virginia after 10pm. In less than 5 minutes I had a completely flat tire and I was driving on the rims. I felt so helpless! Lucky for me, I remembered that a shopping center at Bailey’s Crossroads wasn’t too far away. I got back in the car and, put my hazard lights on and rolled about about 35 mph the 12 or so blocks to the shopping center since it was well lit over there.

This was my first time dealing with a flat tire in almost tweny years of driving and of course I never learned how to change my tires. I popped the trunk anyway and got out my little donut tire and the jack that came with the car. Except, the car jack was in the trunk but the crank was missing. Now what? I decided it would be faster to call AAA than call home for someone to come help, after all this was a time when i could use some emergency roadside assistance. Triple A took 2 hours from the time I called them to finally show up but the technician changed that tire in less than 10 minutes flat. In hindsight, I should have called home!
